These terms are an agreement between you and BEGAMOB GLOBAL LIMITED ("we", "us") for the Authenticator app and this website. By installing or using the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

What the app does

The app generates time-based one-time passwords (TOTP) for accounts you add, stores passwords you choose to save, creates encrypted backups and offers a private browser. It is a tool that runs on your device. It does not create, manage or recover accounts at other services.

Your responsibilities

• Keep your device, passcode and backups safe. Anyone with access to them can generate your codes.
• Store the recovery codes each service gives you when you enable 2FA. If you lose your device without a backup, those recovery codes are the only way back in. We cannot regenerate secret keys.
• Use the app only for accounts you own or are authorised to access.
• Do not reverse engineer, resell or redistribute the app.

Free features and subscriptions

Generating codes is free. Some features (for example encrypted backup, the password vault, leak alerts and the private browser) require a subscription. The current price and period are shown in the app before you confirm a purchase.

• Billing. Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google account when you confirm the purchase.
• Trials. If a free trial is offered, the full price is charged when the trial ends unless you cancel at least 24 hours before.
• Renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Cancelling. On iPhone: Settings, your name, Subscriptions. On Android: Play Store, your profile, Payments and subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
• Refunds. Purchases are handled by Apple and Google, and refunds follow their policies. Request one through reportaproblem.apple.com or the Google Play order history. If you are stuck, write to support and we will help you through it.

Availability and changes

We may update, change or discontinue features at any time. We will give reasonable notice before removing a paid feature from an active subscription period. Codes you have added keep working as long as the app is installed.

Intellectual property

The app, its design and content belong to us or our licensors. Service names and logos shown in the app belong to their respective owners and are used only to identify your accounts.

No warranty

The app is provided "as is". We work hard to keep it reliable, but we do not guarantee that it will be error-free or that a third-party service will accept the codes it generates. Third-party services change their systems without notice.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, including loss of access to third-party accounts, arising from the use of the app. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Termination

You can stop using the app at any time by deleting it. We may suspend access if these terms are broken.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where BEGAMOB GLOBAL LIMITED is registered, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Mandatory consumer protection laws of your country still apply.
